Binary/Hex:01000100 / 0x44 -> 68
Known fixes:

1) If you recently used it with a computer you might have got a faulty security sector or so..
2) Replace your harddrive.
3) Southbridge X-Clamp Fix
4) Reflow the Southbridge
5)short out the pins you can see with some tin foil. There are 4 showing with it plugged in short the two nearest the plug with tin foil ot a clip. This worked for me so it might work for you(Not Confirmed)

Description:

This error occurs when your harddrive is defective, it might still work sometimes.... It can also happen because of a bad eeprom or a wrong security sector.It can also be a problem with the internal connection of the harddrive to the mainboard...According to XBH: Hard drive not DMA configured

Hello, for me that error was a save of a game, after deleting it from another

This happened to me whilst formatting spare h,d,d,s
When you complete a format of a hard drive the console,s unique serial code will
change,I formatted one h,d,d then put in another and used the old xbox console
serial number without realising it had changed as a result it bricked the h,d,d
i had in the unit.E68 Error 1010.

I have found a short under southbridge. I resolved with reballing Southbridge.

It can also be missing SMD components near the southbridge or HDD connector.
Check the top and bottom side of the board.
