That remark in the above comments about inspecting the underside of the MOBO for
missing or otherwise disconnected components is right on but I can tell you it
isnt fun. It took a 30-90x WA Stereo Microscope to find a completely
fractured resister in the area of C2P5 on the underside of the MOBO (I give this
reference point because the part is almost too small to see with even a 4x halo
lamp and isnt identified.), but its just under the Southbridge.
Finding it was the easy part, repairing it was another and I was DOD-2000
Certified in SMT soldering. This was like giving a micro-organism a shave. After
replacing the devise it came up green.
Can confirm this can also be GPU related.
Hot air reflow to gpu and all is good.
Just had one of these. Reflowed the GPU with no clean liquid flux and rework
station. Works.
Had an interesting find earlier today... near the oscillating crystal, I
measured the voltage coming out with my multimeter, not immediately, but in
about 2-3 seconds, the console went rrod with secondary error code 0010. The
delay is probably caused because it does oscillate. I repeated this 4-5 times
to make sure I was not shorting anything out...same result. Seeing this is near
the southbridge, it may be that this is in fact the underlying problem...any
input or confirmation would be greatly appreciated. any questions or comments,

You're screwd... I have little success removing the e73 error, and usually
the mother board is trashed with this error.
i am having this exact problem. I have tried to reflow the southbridge but with
no luck. Any known working alternate fixes for this?
